About Anika Thomasina
Anika Thomasina is a talented and versatile entertainment professional with a rich background in film production, writing, acting, and stand-up comedy. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Anika was exposed to the entertainment industry at a young age, thanks to her mother and family friends who were involved in the field.
Anika's passion for storytelling and creativity led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Arts, and Theater at Chicago State University. She further honed her skills by completing her Master's degree in Film & Digital Cinema Production at DePaul University.
With over 15 years of experience as a producer and writer, Anika has worked on over 75 projects that have been distributed on various platforms such as Amazon Prime, Walmart, Roku, and Tubi. Despite facing challenges such as homelessness, medical illnesses, and divorce, Anika found solace in stand-up comedy and acting, using humor as a form of self-therapy.
Anika's unique blend of wit, sass, and sarcasm shines through in her performances, where she fearlessly tackles everyday life issues with sharp observational comedy. Whether she's discussing relationships, family life, or odd situations, Anika's comedic style will have you laughing out loud while nodding in agreement.
With a passion for storytelling and a knack for making audiences laugh, Anika continues to make her mark in the entertainment industry, captivating audiences in Los Angeles, Chicago, and other various areas with her talents.
